CURT MARVIS

Curt Marvis is recognized globally for his vast and successful experience in both traditional and digital media and for his pioneering efforts in digital distribution.

Mr. Marvis is currently CEO & Co­-Founder of QYOU (http://theqyou.com) , a company which licenses, curates, packages and distributes premium digital first short form videos. With programming distributed on six continents to millions of customers, QYOU is emerging as a leader in the rapidly expanding global distribution of premium short form video.

Mr. Marvis previously served as Lionsgate’s President of Digital Media, where he helped guide the company’s broad spectrum of digital distribution agreements. In addition, while at Lionsgate Mr. Marvis successfully launched original content channels, series and games in partnership with YouTube, Hulu and Machinima which early on formed the basis of the digitally distributed series that are being developed by major studios today

Prior to joining Lionsgate, Mr. Marvis was Co-­Founder and CEO of CinemaNow, a recognized innovator in digital entertainment technology and distribution. CinemaNow was launched in June 1999 and created many of the AVOD, SVOD, TVOD and EST models that are now used by everyone from Netflix and HBO to YouTube and Amazon.

Mr. Marvis also served as President of publicly held CD-­Rom game developer 7th Level and helped lead their successful restructuring into delivery of web­ based technology applications with partners from Microsoft to Bandai.

From 1983 to 1994 Mr. Marvis was Co-­founder and CEO of The Company, an award winning and highly successful production company for music videos, concerts and commercials. He and his partner Wayne Isham were awarded MTV’s prestigious Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award honoring lifetime achievement in their work in 1991.

Mr. Marvis began his career as a documentary producer and includes 105 half hour episodes of New! Animal World for the Disney Channel among his numerous credits.

Mr. Marvis is a frequent speaker at industry events as an expert in the merging of traditional and digital media and has served on numerous boards including CinemaNow, JumpTV (now Neulion), 7th Level and QYOU. He is a graduate with honors from UCLA with a BFA in Motion Picture and Television Production.

Mayank Bhatnagar

Mayank Bhatnagar, currently Senior Vice President at Carat India, brings with him more than 18 years of experience in communication and media planning. He has worked extensively on large CPG businesses across a variety of markets including India, Malaysia and Singapore. Armed with thorough knowledge on the different practices within a media agency, Mayank displays very high competency in strategy planning, media buying, implementation planning and new business development. Some of the large clients that he has worked with are MDLZ, Nestle, P&G, Godrej Consumer products, Tata Motors, Tata Indicom, Kellogg’s & Cadbury.

In his current role, Mayank manages the MDLZ AOR business. He is also responsible for driving digital strategies for brands at Carat and thereby increasing the digital P&L for the agency. Presently, he is focused on improving ROI by deploying the best in class practices & solutions across platforms, engineering process changes through new technologies along with quality data & tools to enhance overall productivity of the brands/organization.

His last assignment was with Mindshare Malaysia. There, he was leading the Nestle business and was also the head – digital trading/investments across clients for Mindshare in Malaysia. He has been instrumental in improving the media product for Mindshare Malaysia and in deploying new processes to improve productivity which led his team to win multiple awards across the local and regional level.

Atika Farooqui

Atika Farooqui is a senior Tv mediaperson with the launch of 6 National Tv channels in 15 years to her credit. She has been a popular Anchor with all of them and headed their Entertainment and Television content. Her Popular Tv Chat shows with Film celebrities have been hugely liked and she is recognised for her distinct flair for good language skills in her on air presentation. She is also a popular Urdu poetess and was once an avid theatre actor.

SIDDHARTH BHARDWAJ

Mr. Siddharth Bhardwaj is the Chief Marketing Officer & Head of Enterprise Sales at UFO Moviez India Limited. Under his leadership, UFO Moviez has built a strong sales force that drive advertising revenues for the in-cinema advertising platform. Mr. Bhardwaj is an engineer and an MBA with over 20 years of work experience and his core strength lies in building teams and setting up new businesses/startups. At UFO Moviez, his key responsibilities include overseeing all advertising sales functions and ad revenue-generation strategies. He also oversees all aspects of pan-India marketing for UFO & its subsidiaries, including strategy, advertising, branding, communications, and alliances marketing.
He has rich sales experience and has worked across diverse industries such as Industrial batteries, Automotive lubes, Telecom, Retail and Media. Before joining UFO Moviez, he was a part of the leadership council of Reliance Broadcast Network Limited, where, during his 4.5 years stint, he was the key driver of RBNL’s exponential growth in the non-metros. In his last assignment with RBNL, he was leading radio sales nationally for the leading radio station 92.7 BIG FM.

LOKESH KATARIA

Lokesh Kataria is the Head of Marketing for Mattel Toys India Pvt Ltd, based out of Mumbai

Withiconic brands such as Barbie, Fisher-Price, Hot Wheels, Thomas & Friends, Mega Bloks andScrabble; Mattel India is the leader across all categories within Toys and Games.

Before joiningMattel, Lokesh has had successful stints with brands like Jio, Coca-Cola and LG Electronics, handlingresponsibilities ranging from Brand Marketing to Operational and Commercial Excellence, over past
15 years in his career.

ANU SIKKA

Entertaining and engaging the most demanding audience, children is no mean feat and Anu Sikka –
Head – Content, Kids Cluster, Viacom18 has perfected it. Focused at creating content that is
gripping, Anu’s objective is to set new stands of scale and animation in India. As content head for
the kids’ cluster at Viacom18, Anu holds the responsibility of driving the channels programming
strategy through curating a great content pipeline and creating a wide array of endearing characters
for children. The characters that she has brought to life like Motu Patlu, Shiva and the recently
launched Rudra have all emerged as category frontrunners. Her ahead of the curve programming
strategy has been a game changer and contributed to Nickelodeon’s journey to numero uno.

Anu has over 21 years of work experience in curating content across various media sectors. Prior to
Viacom18, Anu was with Hungama where she was the Creative Director, responsible for the
animation and non-fiction strategy of the channel. Preceding this, she was executive producer with
Sab TV for over two years leading the Delhi bureau. At SAB TV she set up the in-house production
team and was responsible for starting a daily current affairs band on the channel.

Kavitha Jaubin

Ms Kavitha Jaubin, heads Content Acquisition and Kids’ Entertainment Channels of India’s leading’s television network, Sun TV Network Limited. She has over 18 years of experience inthe media industry, of which significant number of years has been with television.

With an education background in Literature and Journalism, her interest was in writing and she began her career as a copywriter with Ogilvy & Mather, Chennai. Following this, she joined K.Balachandar, a veteran film director’s production house as an Assistant Director and worked on many successful fiction and non-fiction shows. Garnering vast experience in production, she joined ‘Star Vijay’, where she scripted, directed and launched a few signature shows that have set trend and have completed several successful season.

Ms Jaubin made a brief transition from television industry to radio and joined the radio wing of Reliance Media Group-Big FM, as the Programming head.Her passion for programming and visual narration, maneuvered her back to the television industry but this time it was kids’ entertainment, Sun TV Network, with Chutti TV (The Tamil wing of the Sun TV’s kids cluster) at its nascent stage. Later, she launched three other regional kids entertainment channels and seized the best international content for the channels and launched distinctive shows for the kids.She revels in native ingenuity and believes in working natively creating a global impact. She
yearns to instrument many more initiatives for the little audience and make their television viewing, a joy forever experience.

RAM KAMAL MUKHERJEE

With almost two decades of experience in the field of journalism, Ram Kamal Mukherjee holds two prestigious record to his repute. He became India’s youngest biographer after writing a Coffee table book on Hema Malini in 2005 at the age of 29. He has also bagged the prestigious Power Brand award as India’s first Power Brand Film Journalist in 2017.

Ram Kamal worked as Assistant Editor of Mumbai Mirror. He worked as Vice President with Pritish Nandy Communications for almost half a decade. During his tenure he worked on eight Hindi feature films. Later, he joined as Editor-in-chief with Stardust, under Magna Publishing. He also co-produced a finite series Bin Kuch Kahe for Zee TV in association with Rajshree Ojha under Artecom Entertainment.His first fiction novel Long Island Iced Tea got rave reviews from book connoisseurs.

Recently he released Hema Malini’s authorized biography Beyond The Dreamgirl published by HarperCollins India. Formally launched by Deepika Padukone, the book is travelling across the globe. With this book, Ram Kamal became India’s first and only author to have a foreword written by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Ram Kamal floated his own production house Assorted Motion Pictures and will soon announce his forthcoming protects for celluloid and digital platform.

He recently has produced and directed the short film ‘ The Cake Walk’ starring Esha Deol.

ROMIL RAMGARHIA

Romil Ramgarhia has been with BARC India since 2013 and been closely involved in setting up the largest TV audience measurement system in the world.

Romil, one of the youngest COOs in the broadcast sector, has been instrumental in the strategy, planning and rolling out of BARC India’s viewership measurement services. He has also been involved in strengthening the overall business strategy as well as developing innovative funding and pricing structure of BARC India.
