Rana Barua is a renowned transformational leader in the Indian advertising industry and one of the youngest network CEOs in the country, leading the fastest growing advertising conglomerate – Havas Group India as it’s Group CEO. Rana is known for being a progressive business leader who has turned around companies, created award-winning cultures, and built successful corporates in advertising, marketing, and media over the course of his nearly three-decade career. With an illustrious career of nearly three decades, Rana has led esteemed organisations such as Contract India (a leading WPP creative agency) and RED FM (India’s leading radio network). He has also held senior leadership profiles in Radio City (as marketing head) and multiple WPP agencies (JWT, Ogilvy & Rediffusion Y&R), where he has spent a major part of his professional life.
Rana is one of the strongest advocates of the Indian advertising industry. This reflects in the various industry initiatives and award shows that he has actively participated in over the years. – including Grand Juror at Afaqs Foxglove Awards 2021, DMA EchoAsia, and AME Awards. He has been Jury Chair at the SAMMIE awards. He has also been a jury member at several key awards including, New York Festivals, Apac Effies, exchange4media News Broadcasting Awards, IMPACT’s 50 Most Influential Women List 2020, Radio Forums, and many others. And he is also Esteemed Advisory Member at Indian Telly ADz Awards. In 2022, Rana was in the grand jury of United Nations Women’s 2022 WEPs India Awards.
Rana is also passionate about policymaking and changes in the overall advertising industry and therefore plays a prominent role in several industry bodies. Since 2021, he has been the Vice President of The Advertising Club (TAC) Mumbai, the marketing and advertising industry’s apex body. Rana has played a pivotal role in the resurgence of the Abby/One Show and the tie up and was Chairman of the AGC – The One Show Ad Club Abby for 2022. He was re-elected as the Vice President of The Ad Club in 2022. The same year, he was unanimously elected Vice President of the prestigious Advertising Agencies Association of India (AAAI) – the official, national organization of advertising agencies.
As CEO of Havas Group India, he is also part of the governing council of The Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IFCCI), which provides its members with a business platform by giving them access to sector-specific information, networking opportunities and exchange of business ideas.
Havas Group India being part of the UN Women Unstereotype Alliance is another association that Rana has spearheaded as it began its India chapter. It is a groundbreaking take on gender equality where harmful stereotypes in advertising are being tackled. The Alliance’s work is even more crucial as it aims to centre its work in India on broadening the representation of women and girls in non-traditional roles in advertising with a focus on women returning to the workforce. It is a clear indicator of Havas Group’s commitment to driving gender diversity.  
Rana also presides on the board of many leading companies across the Havas Group and is actively involved as a speaker at leading MBA institutions across the country.

ARPIT JAIN

Arpit Jain is the Assistant Vice President at UFO Moviez India Limited. He is an MBA graduate from MIT with a decade of illustrious career in TV, Print, Radio, Digital and Cinema medium. He heads all aspect of Marketing & Communications for UFO Moviez & its subsidiaries, including strategy, advertising, branding, communication and international alliances. He strongly advocates in-cinema advertising, as he believes cinema brings larger than life feel to brands through large screen formats to a highly receptive audience. Under his leadership, UFO saw a 2.0 avatar and thus reinforcing its leadership position in the in-cinema media space. He is a passionate marketing enthusiast, who cuts across – physical thru the digital (phygital), traditional thru contemporary, Strategy thru the last mile. If marketing is a religion, Arpit is the gospel.

Before joining UFO Moviez, he has worked with the top media brands like CNBC TV, Times of India & Reliance Broadcast. Some of his noteworthy campaigns include the India’s most path breaking award winning radio show Suhana Safar with Annu Kapoor, Big Star Entertainment Awards, ICC Cricket World Cup India Trophy Tour & Times Literature Festival.

UPENDRRA RAI

Sh Upendrra Rai (born 16 January 1982) is an Indian journalist and writer. He is Chairman & Managing Director and Editor-in-Chief of Bharat Express News Network. Earlier he was working as CEO and Editor-in-Chief at Sahara India Media. He has worked as CEO and Editor-in-Chief at Tehelka. Sahara News Network as its Group CEO and Editor-in-Chief, looking after the functioning of Sahara Samay Channel along with Samay UP/ Uttarakhand, Samay Bihar/Jharkhand, Samay MP/CG, Samay Rajasthan, Aalami Samay and Rashtriya Sahara Hindi Daily. He resigned from Sahara News Network recently in Oct 2022 and has started his own media house Bharat Express News Network . He has also founded ‘The Printlines Media Group’ in 2016 as its chairman and Editor-in Chief Sh Upendrra Rai was born in the village Sherpur, Ghazipur. He got his early education at village Sherpur & Inter College Mohammadabad in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh and completed his graduation from University of Lucknow. He moved to Mumbai to pursue his career as Chief of Bureau of Rashtriya Sahara. In Mumbai he got Master of Business Administration from SVKM’s NMIMS. Sh Upendrra Rai started his career as a correspondent in the year 1997 with Sahara News Network while pursuing his graduation at University of Lucknow. In October 2002 he joined Star News (Now ABP News) then in August 2004 he joined Network 18 where he worked as the member of launching team of CNBC Awaaz/CNBC TV18. He later joined Star News again (renamed ABP News) in year October 2005 as Principal Correspondent, where he did path-breaking stories related to Taxation, Business, Politics and Entertainment. In November, 2009 he moved to Sahara News Network as Editor and News Director. However he left Sahara News Network in 2016 and started working as CEO and editor-in-chief of Tehelka.I n September 2019 he came back to the fold of Sahara News Network again as Executive Director , CEO & Editor In Chief in Sept 2019 and now established Bharat News Network. Sh Upendra Rai did many big stories while working with Star News (ABP News). He unearthed demat account scandal in October 2005. Likewise, he broke the story of stud farm owner Hasan Ali in January 2007, which resulted in government agencies actions on Ali.

KAILASHNATH ADHIKARI

At the age of 23 Kailash became an Govt. of India officer having experience of working with the erstwhile
Planning Commission of India in the rank of a deputy secretary to Government of India.
He has also been featured by The Economic Times as one of the young guns working in the Erstwhile Planning

Kailash currently is the Managing director of Sri Adhikari Brother’s Public Policy Platform “Governance Now”
and also is the business head of Group’s Broadcasting & Content Division.

ZAMA HABIB

Zaman Habib (born as Md Badiuzzaman), also known as Zaman Habib, is a Mumbai-based Indian television writer. He has written serials such as Sapna Babul Ka…Bidaai, Sasural Genda Phool, Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, Saas Bina Sasural, Nimki Mukhiya, Nimki Vidhayak and Ishaaron Ishaaron Mein. He is the script consultant of Anupamaa.
He was involved in theater in his college days and wrote, acted and directed several plays. His .He has also translated plays by Anton Chekhov and other writers. He is a well known young poet of Urdu Literature and his poetry appears in leading Urdu literary magazines.
Soon he became a radio artist and wrote and acted in many radio plays and serials.
He has written more than 5,000 episodes of Hindi and Bengali serials.
Zama Habib has also served as Joint Secretary and later as Honoraryy General Secretary of Screenwriters Association (SWA)
In 2016, Zama Habib opened his own production house called Qissago Telefilms LLP with his wife and partner, Ishrat Ara and produced shows, Nimki Mukhiya, Nimki Vidhayak, Ishaaron Ishaaron Mein and Zindagi Mere Ghar Aana.

SUDHIR SHARMA

Sudhir started his career in 1993 with News programming. He headed Live News from Moscow and then moved to Zee News, Delhi as a Senior News Correspondent and was an integral part of the Editorial team. He directed & scripted top current affairs shows Janta Ki Adalat & Awaaz for Star Plus. He also helmed the setting up of the News organisation Independent Media Pvt. Ltd., Delhi (now India TV)in 1997.
In 1999 he founded Sunshine Productions and since then has spearheaded the creation of clutter-breaking content for TV and Web. He created landmark series such as Miley Jab Hum Tum – Star One, 12/24 Karol Bagh – Zee, Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha – Colors, The Buddy Project – Channel V, Paanch – Channel V, Ziddi Dil Maane Na – Sony SAB, AdhaFull – BBC, Only For Singles – Web Series on MX Player, Salt City – Web Series Applause / Sony Liv amongst others.
Sudhir has also had the privilege of being on the Jury of the International EMMY Awards.
Armed with a two-year acting & direction course under international theatre doyen, Ebrahim Alkazi, Sudhir has been a part of over a dozen major theatre productions in Delhi. When not creating content, Sudhir heads out to jungles, outdoors and streets armed with his DSLR camera. As a photographer, he has successfully exhibited his work at prestigious exhibitions.

Jayen Mehta is Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation Ltd. (Amul) which is India’s largest food products marketing organisation with annual brand sales turnover of Rs 61,000 crores ( US$8 billion)

Jayen has been associated with Amul since last 31 years. He has rich experience in domestic and international marketing of Amul products having travelled widely across India and more than 50 countries around the world.

He is a member on the Standing Committee of Marketing of the International Dairy Federation (IDF).

He has been awarded the Marketing Man of the Year 2018 Award by Ahmedabad Management Association and ranks amongst the top CMOs of India as rated by several industry bodies and publications.

He has also served as Managing Director of Amul Dairy, Anand in 2018.
