Known for his recent hit web shows Jamanapaar and Yeh Meri Family, Sudhir Sharma began his career in 1993 in news programming. Covered major news events with Zee News in 90’s as Senior News Correspondent and editorial team member. Later, as one of the founding team members of Independent Media Pvt. Ltd., Delhi (now India TV), he scripted and directed leading current-affairs shows such as ‘Janta Ki Adalat’ and Awaaz for Star Plus.

As Producer and Director, he created landmark fiction shows such as Miley Jab Hum Tum (Star), 12/24 Karol Bagh (Zee), Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha (Colors), The Buddy Project (Channel V), Paanch (Channel V), Ziddi Dil Maane Na (Sony SAB), AdhaFull(BBC), Neerja (Colors) and many more.

In recent years, Sudhir has also produced many successful web shows like Yeh Meri Family, Only For Singles, Salt City (SonyLIV), Knock Knock Killer (Amazon MX) and Amazon MX’s flagship series Jamnapaar. As per Ormax, Jamnapaar ranked among India’s Top 10 most-watched original series in 2024–25.

Sudhir has also served as a jury member for the International Emmy Awards.
