Rabindra Narayan is one of the original architects of modern Punjabi broadcasting and is widely known as the Father of Punjabi Satellite Television. He founded the world’s first Punjabi satellite channel, Punjabi World, and later led and shaped major networks including PTC Network, Zee Punjabi and ETC Punjabi, setting new benchmarks for regional television.

Over a career spanning more than three decades, he has introduced several firsts in Punjabi media. He played a pioneering role in taking live Gurbani from the Golden Temple to television audiences across the world and has consistently pushed the boundaries of format and technology, from early satellite innovation to VR-based programming and AI-driven production.

Today, as Founder, Managing Director and President of GTC Network, he is building a global Punjabi content ecosystem and a new-age creators’ platform that blends television, digital, and generative AI. His focus is on creating scalable, future-ready media that connects Punjabi audiences worldwide while nurturing the next generation of storytellers and creators.
