A seasoned professional, Pavithra brings over two decades of rich experience spanning various
verticals of the media and entertainment industry. Pavithra has been building teams and driving
revenue for Viacom18’s Hindi Mass Entertainment cluster for over 11 years. Her journey began as
revenue head on special projects, COLORS and currently she is the Revenue Head for COLORS SD &
HD. At Viacom18, Pavithra is a key enabler in the gamut of strategic planning and content
monetisation. She has been instrumental in growing the top line and bringing large ticket clients such
as Maruti Suzuki, Parle Agro, HUL, MPL, Tata Motors, Byju’s, L’Oréal, Mondelez and Vivo amongst
others – thereby delivering ingenious contemporary solutions to maximise value for the network as
well as for the clients. Pavithra also leads the Young Leadership Development Program (YLDP) for the
organisation thereby nurturing future leaders.
An alumnus of Mt. Carmel College, Pavithra started her stint in the media industry at the age of 22
with Star India where she handled the revenue portfolios for NGC, Star News and Channel V. She was
one of the founding team members at NDTV Media Ltd & by the time she turned 30, Pavithra was the
National Revenue Head for NDTV 24X7, India’s Leading 24 hours English News channel, one of the
youngest such leaders in the industry. Her contribution has been vital to Live India and News 24, her
additional responsibilities, wherein she led stakeholder management, brought industry-leading
practices, and built the team.
A firm believer in the ‘In it to Win it’ mentality and as a result of her working across major markets
such as Bangalore, Delhi and Mumbai, Pavithra brings rich experience in terms of regional market
understanding, a skill that is most sought after in the revenue function. She believes in being hands￾on and continues to keep her ears to the ground with extensive and deep engagement with teams,
clients, and agency partners. While sales are predominantly a numbers business, for her at its core it
is a people business and she thrive on the hustle the job entails. When not converting sales leads,
Pavithra loves to travel and is passionate about food and fitness. Balance is an essential part of her
ethos – whether in business or while being a doting mother to her twin boys.
